The builder was Glenn Barker from ‘A1 construction’, someone known to me as his wife is a mother at Edward’s school. Whilst he was not the cheapest quote, I have to say he was faultless, both the quality of the work, and his care and consideration both for us and for the neighbours. The guys next door thought he was marvellous and that was important to us. Also, once he starts a job he doesn’t leave until it is finished. The start date needed to be shunted along because he over-ran on a previous job but once he was here, he didn’t stop until it was all done. He also sorted the redecorations, electrics, everything, and he landscaped the front. A real craftsman who loves his job. We’d really recommend him.
